SOURCES OF INSPIRATION

What inspires you to scrap and/or design? Where do you go when you need a little boost to your scrapbooking mood?

In this day and age, there are numerous sources of inspiration. On the internet alone you can find inspirational quote sites, blogs, scrapbook galleries, and tons of tutorials! You can also checkout decorating or idea books from the library, swap books and magazines with friends, go to your favorite craft or clothing store, or even take a walk around the block! You’re bound to find inspiration one way or another!

My number one inspiration is my family. Whether it’s a smile or a laugh from my daughter, a look from my husband, or a new quote online, I’m always thinking of new things to scrap. I like to be creative.

When scrapping wasn’t enough to wet my appetite, I got into designing digital scrap kits. That opened my eyes to see the whole world in a new light. When ever I see a pattern on the rug or on a dress in the store, I want to understand how it was formed. If I see a color swatch that I love, I get it! I’m inspired by everything! Sometimes a commercial will set off an idea in my head!
