Momma got a Facelift

mdi_01okay, not really….but The MDI Blog has been updated with a fresh new look. What do you think?? I wanted a way to showcase information in an easy to find manner while presenting a professional look!

I brought this Wordpress Theme from Deluxe Themes. It’s setup to work with three main categories: news, photos, and videos. I modified the theme because I don’t have any videos at this time. The photos category is my products listing! I just loved the way this theme displayed the photo (products) archives so I modifed all the other category archives to match!

You can easily customize the styles and images in this theme. It even has built in functions to manage advertisements, emails, and popular posts. It has 3 dynamic sidebars, too! I’m currently working to update the footer to include 3 “sidebars.”

I’m highly impressed with this theme template and would recommend it to anyone!! I’ll be adding a page onto this site for The MDI Store designers. I want to showcase them to you, of course!!

OH OH OH… and this theme has built in Feedburner  so… I setup Feedburner and we’ll see….. Any personal opinions on Feedburner vs Feedblitz?

I look forward to your feedback!!

Brandy

P.S. I promised you a freebie….something special to magically transform your 12×12 digital scrapbooking kits into tagger sized kits….well, don’t worry – I did not forget. I’ve actually been working on a detailed tutorial to go with it. = )

Hellooooo! I was just on your twiiter page and saw a message that said to “Leave a comment on your blog to receive a $5 coupon”…… now that message was posted on 5/17, so it may not be applicable anymore; however, I figured I’d leave you a message and show my support either way! Warmest wishes, Candi

Looks really great to me, Brandy!
Thanks for not having forgotten that thing to transform full size into tagger size.
See I’ve never tagger size in my life, I’m not sure I would even know the right dimentions. Almost a year I’ve been designing kits, and always full size. Feels sort of confusing for me, the tagger size.
So you can imagine how deliriously happy I am that you of all people thought of something like this!
Even a tutorial would be absolutelly great.
Thanks so much Brandy, for your talent and your generosity.
    Big hugs
