Installing Brushes in Adobe Photoshop

This tutorial will enable you to install brushes for use with Adobe Photoshop.

To give you a summary, you will copy the .abr file you purchased/downloaded and place it in a folder on your computer.

INSTALLING .ABR FILES

Installing brushes into Adobe Photoshop is super easy.

1.       Close Adobe Photoshop. It should not be open during this installation.

2.       Locate your new brush file (.abr) and copy it.

3.       In Windows Explorer, navigate to the directory location listed below and paste the .abr file.

Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop X\Presets\Brushes
( where X is the version number for your version of Photoshop)

And that’s it! Easy, right?
